| Department Overview |
| Born out of the recent acquisitions of ClearPar and Storm the Markit Loans Processing group provides post trade services to market participants of both primary and secondary loan trades. The core elements of the group are trade settlement and global loan data; currently ClearPar is the market leader in trade settlement and WSOData is the market leader in global syndicated loan data. The group seeks to leverage other Markit assets to become a hub through which the trade settlement and loan messaging processes flow, thereby reducing trade settlement times and risk in the market. These assets include Markit Entity Identifiers, Markit Document Exchange, and the DTCC’s delivery vs. Payment service. Further to this goal, Markit’s acquisition of Storm Networks represents major change to the way that the market settles loan trades and will form the basis for the next generation of loan trade processing and messaging platform. The Storm and ClearPar platforms have been combined to form Markit Clear. An integral part of the settlement platform includes the Markit Clear Inventory Module whereby agent banks provide lenders a real-time look into their current positions across assets and funds. Markit Clear Inventory will be the primary emphasis for this Business Analyst position, with the role naturally involving both other integrated systems, as well as other Markit Clear product offerings.
The product management team is responsible for the vision and direction of the product. The team performs the design/definition of product enhancements, interaction with clients to understand their needs and the analysis of market trends to determine the strategic direction the product should move towards.
