| Department Overview |
| Born out of the recent acquisitions of ClearPar and Storm the Markit Loans Processing group provides post trade services to market participants of both primary and secondary loan trades. The core element of the group is trade settlement; currently ClearPar is the market leader in trade settlement. The group seeks to leverage other Markit assets to become a hub through which the trade settlement process flows thereby reducing trade settlement times. These assets include Markit Entity Identifiers, Markit Document Exchange, and the DTCC’s delivery vs. Payment service. Further to this goal, Markit’s acquisition of Storm Networks represents major change to the way that the market settles loan trades and will form the basis for the next generation of loan trade processing platform.
The product management team is responsible for the vision and direction of the product. The team performs the design/definition of product enhancements, interaction with clients to understand their needs and the analysis of market trends to determine the strategic direction the product should move towards. |
