London and New York, NY - Markit, a leading, global financial information services company, today announced the forthcoming launch of Markit ETF Services, the first comprehensive data set tracking exchange traded funds (ETF) worldwide. The new service aims to improve transparency in the fast growing ETF market.
Markit ETF Services will provide investors with a comprehensive view of the global ETF market for the first time, aggregating a wealth of crucial information including details of ETF providers, daily portfolio composition, net asset value, assets under management and dividend forecasts. The services will normalise terminology to allow ETF investors to make meaningful comparisons.
