London and New York, NY - Markit, a leading, global financial information services company, today announced the launch of two new indices to benchmark the performance of liquid corporate high-yield bonds from issuers in over 30 countries, primarily in North America and Western Europe. The Markit iBoxx Global Developed Markets High Yield Index consists of sub-investment grade corporate bonds denominated in US dollars, Canadian dollars, Euros and Pounds Sterling. The Markit iBoxx Global Developed Markets ex-US High Yield Index consists of sub-investment grade corporate bonds denominated in Canadian dollars, Euros and Pounds Sterling. Each index is market-value weighted.
