As indices increase in complexity and asset class coverage, the demands on independent calculation agents increase. Markit is well positioned to meet these demands as we have years of experience in bonds, rates, equity, credit and structured finance indices.

Our Custom Index Service is based on Markit’s index families but allows modifications to meet the needs of the client. The Bespoke Index Service goes further and delivers indices built to the exact specifications of our clients in any major asset class. In both cases, our Index Design team works closely with our clients to ensure a result that meets their specific needs. Markit is a market-leading index provider covering Credit (Markit CDX, Markit MCDX, Markit iTraxx), Loans (Markit LCDX, Markit iTraxx Levx), Bonds (Markit iBoxx), Currencies (Markit iBoxx FX) and Structured Finance (Markit ABX, Markit CMBX, Markit TABX).

Delivery of indices to existing clients through our systems via incumbent XML, Exchanges (Deutsche Boerse, Euronext, LSE, Borsa Italiana) and established data vendors on both an end-of-day and real-time basis

Markit's Bespoke and Custom index service is a white-labeled service, and indices calculated are published under the client’s branding
