A robust, anonymous online platform that displays the credits available for sale including indicative quantities and price.  These credits can be searched and viewed online by registered buyers.
 
Pending Issuance Units
A Pending Issuance Unit is a unit that represents a contractual right to an anticipated delivery of an emission reduction credit. These units can be listed, held and tracked on the Markit Environmental Registry.

Markit publishes indices for trading, product structuring and data.  Existing indices cover credit, loans, bonds, structured finance, equities and environment.  Markit does not trade in any securities or indices and the index business adheres to a strong governance framework that includes an external index advisory board, and oversight and technical committees.


Markit Carbon Disclosure Leaders (Global) Index
The Markit Carbon Disclosure Leadership index family tracks the performance of companies according to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) annual scores.

Markit BlueNext EUA Spot Index
An index that consists of daily fixings of EUA (EU Emission Allowances). The daily fixing is calculated based on the EUA spot transactions traded on the BlueNext exchange.

Markit CER Success Rate Indices
Indices that measures how CER projects around the world are performing compared to the targets stated in their Project Design Document, the key document involved in the validation and registration Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects.
