Markit Expands Executive Team

London – Markit Group Limited (“Markit”), the leading provider of independent data, portfolio valuations and OTC derivatives trade processing to the global financial markets, today announced the appointment of Niall Cameron to its Executive Management team.

Cameron joins Markit as an Executive Vice President and will take responsibility for Markit’s Index Management and Equities businesses.

Cameron has worked in the capital markets for over 20 years with experience in fixed income, equities and foreign exchange. Most recently he was Global Head of Traded Markets and member of the Global Markets Executive Committee at ABN AMRO where he worked for more than seven years. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Cambridge University.
