The system is tailored for front-to-back office operations including trade entry, transaction processing, portfolio attribution reporting and portfolio reconciliation.  Using dedicated loan functionality, Markit WSO Administrator allows managers to streamline operational costs by providing world class functionality for the alternative investment market.
Key benefits:
Manage a large number of assets and portfolios by streamlining the data entry process and, at the same time, create an audit trail of all processed transactions
Increase efficiency by linking assets across portfolios so transactions are processed once
Position detail, referential data and historical data available for viewing current settled, funded and traded positions
User-friendly wizards provide workflow tools to walk the user through transactions and trades, gathering information directly from the database in order to minimise data entry
Key functions:
Asset specific functionality for Bank Loans, Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Bonds, Credit Default Swaps (CDS), Equities, Total Rate of Return Swaps (TRS) and Universal Assets
Transaction processing includes interest rate rollover, principal amortisation, spread changes, pay-in-kind and restructure
Track and report on multiple currencies within one portfolio
Capture portfolio information such as settled, funded and traded postings as well as ratings, spreads, industry codes, defaults and prices
