With the backing of the largest players in the European equities markets, Markit MSA provides a transparent market share service, collecting and aggregating an estimated 60% of all cash equity trading in Europe across traditional exchanges, MTFs and OTC markets.  With European stock coverage of around 40,000 unique instruments, Markit MSA has widespread coverage and is actively working to include all the major and specialised dealers in the cash equities market.

Markit MSA is the most stringently validated tool for discovering the key players in the European cash equity markets by specialisation.  Markit MSA aggregates and ranks all reporting firms based on their daily validated trading activity.  This allows clients to view trading activity by volume or value across single stocks, sectors, indices or user-defined portfolios.
